When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, the name you provide and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, deal with corrections and keep the relevant correspondence.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in managing enquiries and running the website. Retention: routine enquiry emails are deleted 12 months after the enquiry is resolved.

Hosting and website delivery

Hostinger provides the website hosting. Technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser information may be recorded in hosting and security logs to deliver the website, investigate errors and protect it from misuse.

Owner check: confirm the hosting log retention, processing locations and any international transfer safeguards that apply to the hosting plan and email provider.

Fonts and external links

The site uses the DM Sans font from Google Fonts. Font requests send the information needed to deliver the font to Google, including an IP address. See Google Fonts’ privacy information.

If you follow a link to another website, that website’s privacy and cookie policies apply. Recipe photographs are stored on this website; photographer credit links take you to Unsplash.

Cookies and visitor features

The launch pages have no newsletter sign-up, visitor account registration or public comment form. We have not enabled Google Analytics or advertising pixels in this build.

WordPress uses authentication and session cookies when site editors log in. Hosting and security services may also use cookies needed to deliver and protect the site. Owner check: confirm the public cookie list and durations before publication.

If optional tracking or new visitor features are added, this notice and the relevant choices will be updated before those features are enabled.

Your information rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Contact us using the privacy contact above.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
